At Staab Construction, you won’t just learn about construction, you will live it. Our internship program is built to give students real world experience on active projects, not busywork or observation from the sidelines.
Interns are treated as part of the team and given meaningful responsibilities that contribute to project success. You will gain exposure to both field and office operations while learning how construction projects come together from start to finish.
Staab interns work alongside experienced professionals and skilled trades teams to gain hands on experience across multiple areas of construction.
Intern responsibilities may include field support, project coordination, cost tracking, documentation, and assisting with planning and scheduling. Interns also learn how Staab approaches safety, quality control, and environmental stewardship on every project.
This experience helps interns understand how their work directly impacts jobsite efficiency and project outcomes.
A Staab internship is more than a summer job. It is a pathway into a long term career with the company.
Many interns return for multiple summers and continue into Staab’s Construction Management Development Program after graduation. The internship program serves as a direct pipeline into full time professional roles, giving students a strong advantage as they begin their careers.
Interns who show initiative, curiosity, and commitment are often considered first when full time opportunities become available.
Internships at Staab offer the chance to develop practical skills, build professional relationships, and gain confidence in a real construction environment. You leave the program with experience that carries forward into your career.
